By Reel Coverage Nov 06, 2025

Aave's Horizon, the largest lending market for tokenized RWAs has recently integrated VanEck's tokenized treasury fund, VBILL, allowing institutional borrowing of stablecoins with VBILL as collateral.
Launched in partnership with Securitize, the leading real world assets tokenization platform with over $4.43 billion in tokenized value, VBILL offers institutional investors on-chain exposure to short-term US treasuries.
Backed by 70+ years VanEck, an asset manager with $161.7 Billion in assets under management (AUM), VBILL has attracted over $93.13 million in investments, ranked #34 in tokenized RWAs, and #14 in tokenized US treasuries.
VBILL's Integration on Aave's Horizon
Aave has partnered with VanEck and Securitize to integrate VBILL into Horizon, the leading lending market for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), to enable investors to access stablecoin capital, borrowed against their tokenized RWAs.
Horizon has $450 million in net deposits, with borrowing volume exceeding $135 million. VBILL investors can now use their assets to borrow stablecoins on the Horizon platform, turning tokenized treasuries into productive onchain collateral for the first time.
With a minimum investment of $100,000, institutions can invest in short-term US treasuries on-chain and use those treasury assets to access permissionless stablecoin capital through Aave's Horizon.
As institutional interest in tokenized real world assets grows, Horizon's VBILL integration marks a pivotal step towards bridging traditional finance and decentralized finance.
Tokenized US treasuries hit $8.72 billion
